Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

Our AWANA program is held on Wednesday nights at 6:15pm August through May. 

The main focus of this program is to encourage children to hide the Word of God in their hearts.  Our AWANA programs seek to challenge the spiritual growth of each boy and girl. 

Each night is broken into four segments: meal time, game time, handbook time and a lesson time. 

• During game time the children are taught team spirit and sportsmanship.  

• Upon enrolling in AWANA, each child receives a handbook with scriptures in them to memorize.  During handbook time the kids recite their handbook sections and receive awards for completing them.  

• Lesson time is a time us to give the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and to have topical discussions about Christian living and the Bible.

​​Our main goal in this ministry is that each child walk away with a relationship with Jesus Christ at the end.  Whether it’s having fun during game time or memorizing scripture, each child is learning what it takes to be a champion Christian.
